The Most Underrated Golf Tip

Watching the ball is a must, just like any other hand eye game or sport. Try playing ping pong and not focusing on the ball or try to hit a baseball without watching the ball, the list goes on. For anyone that says otherwise you have lost your mind. Find a spot/dimple on the back of the ball at a good angle and focus on it. If you are in a fairway bunker looking more at the top of the ball this will help you hit it more steep and have less of a chance hitting the sand first. It is surprising how many times I watch my students eye's dart off the ball at the beginning of their back swing. Keeping focused on the ball will also help you with your tempo and staying more centered. Stay nice and relaxed and watch the ball.
